Use to have a card for Banana Cookies from Great American Recipes collections. Lost it. Does anyone have it and is willing to post the recipe? Many thanks.
BANANA COOKIES
3 very ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar, packed
4 egg whites
3 c. oats
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla or banana flavoring
Chocolate chips and/or nuts (as you wish)
Mix first 3 ingredients together in a bowl.
Add egg whites and mix.
Add remaining ingredients except nuts and/or chocolate chips.
After dough is mixed add nuts and/or chocolate chips.
Batter will seem too liquid but drop on cookie sheet anyway.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 12 to 15 minutes.

Banana Cookies
1/2-1 cup butter, softened to room temperature
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup mashed bananas
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granola cereal
Preheat oven to 375F degrees.
In large bowl, cream butter and sugar, with mixer on medium, until light and fluffy.
Add the egg, vanilla, and bananas, beating until well mixed.
Add the next 4 ingredients and stir until well blended.
Stir in granola.
Drop by spoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake for 12 minutes or until set.
Remove from cookie sheets and place on wire rack to cool.

Banana Oatmeal Cookies With Banana Frosting
3/4 cup Butter Flavor Crisco
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (2 to 3 medium)
1 3/4 cups quick oats (not instant or old fashioned)
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
Frosting
2 tablespoons Butter Flavor Crisco
1/4 cup mashed bananas
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 cups confectioners' sugar
finely chopped walnuts (optional)
Heat oven to 350°F.
Grease baking sheet; set aside.
Cream 3/4 cup Crisco and brown sugar in large bowl at medium speed until well blended.
Beat in egg.
Add one cup mashed banana.
Mix until creamy.
Combine oats, flour, salt, cinnamon, baking soda and nutmeg.
Stir into creamed mixture.
Mix in one half cup nuts.
Drop 2 level measuring tablespoonfuls of dough into a mound to form each cookie.
Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.
Bake for 15-17 minutes.
Cool one minute on baking sheet.
Remove to cooling rack.
Cool Completely.
For Frosting: Cream 2 tablespoons Crisco, 1/4 cup mashed bananas and lemon juice.
Add confectioners sugar.
Beat until smooth.
Frost cooled cookies.
Sprinkle with chopped walnuts if desired.
Banana Cookies
2 1/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup margarine
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips or raisins
1 cup mashed bananas
Sift 1st four ingredients together.
Mix next 4 ingredients thoroughly.
Add dry ingredients.
Blend well.
Dough will be sticky.
Stir in chips or raisins and bananas.
Drop by teaspoonful onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes. This is a soft cakey cookie.

Banana Drop Cookies
1/4 cup rolled oats
3 tablespoons all pupose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 banana, mashed
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon banana extract
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a small bowl, combine oats, flour, baking powder and baking soda. Mix well. Add remaining ingredients and stir until blended. Drop mixture by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a baking sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes, or until bottoms of cookies are lightly browned. Remove cookies to a wire rack to cool.
Makes 10 cookies.
